It has been said that small businesses are the backbone of our economy, the cornerstone of our communities and the heart of America. These wise sentiments ring true in Putnam, CT, where business owners take pride in their establishments.

 In early 2009, a small group of business owners began talking about ways to support one another. They recognized the need to have a supportive, collaborative group that brought together the dynamic mix of professionals from thriving businesses in Putnam.  It was in this recognition that the Putnam Business Association was formed with the commitment to promote and publicize businesses and organizations in Putnam and its surrounding towns. Through unified advertising, networking, and community events, the Putnam Business Association encourages the growth and success of all its members.

Today, the PBA is honored to have 200 active members and continues to grow. 

The Putnam Business Association is proud to be the exclusive sponsor of “DiscoverPutnam”. DiscoverPutnam was created by and on behalf of PBA members to serve as an advertising and marketing campaign through which the community would gain increased exposure as a premier tourist destination in Connecticut and New England.
