The Putnam Business Association was formed in 2009 by a small group of business owners with a unified vision. Today, the PBA boasts just over 200-business members from various industries, professions and trades. The purpose of the PBA is to promote and publicize the business of Putnam, Connecticut through a unified advertising, public relations, and promotional campaign to encourage the growth and success of all members of the Association.
The PBA holds monthly membership meetings on the second Wednesday of every month (subject to change) at The Crossings Restaurant and Brew Pub at 8:30 a.m. In addition, the PBA hosts a business mixers each year to allow members and perspective members the chance to network with one another and sponsors numerous events in Putnam throughout the year, including the Fire & Ice Festival (February), First Fridays (May-October), Beautification Day (May), and The Great Pumpkin Festival (October).
In an effort to attract more visitors, the Putnam Business Association is proud to be the exclusive sponsor of “DiscoverPutnam”. DiscoverPutnam was created by and on behalf of PBA members to serve as an advertising and marketing campaign through which the community would gain increased exposure as a premiere tourist destination in Connecticut and New England.
