Major PBA Events of 2009

Established Bylaws & Committees for the PBA

Town Clean Up – Everybody literally went around and cleaned up the town

We had 3 Mixers – 2 at Montgomery Ward Building, & at Putnam Bank

Flower plantings at the “Welcome to Putnam” signs

We created & mailed postcards promoting PBA & the Mixers
Created Press Releases and distributed to local newspapers

Designed and chose a logo for PBA

Participated in Holiday Dazzle Light Parade

Created and distributed Table Tents promoting local businesses and events

Organized Group Advertising with WINY

Created the PBA website – PutnamBusiness.org

Had PBA golf shirts embroidered and sold them

Organized Great Pumpkin Fest

Redesigned & Improved the website

Tourism Map is in the works – limited availability, first come first serve

For 2010, we’d like to:
Complete the Tourism Map
Plan events more in advance
Develop a fundraiser for the PBA:
- Possibly have a business service auction fundraiser
- Possibly have a wine & cheese fundraiser and a Bradley Show
