Putnam, CT, May 26, 2010 … Four art galleries in Putnam have teamed up to host a summer Downtown Gallery Stroll series. These events offer an opportunity to view and purchase the work of local and regional artists, plus enjoy demonstrations, an opportunity to meet the artists, live entertainment and hands-on activities for all ages. The four galleries are all within easy walking distance of each other and near free, convenient parking and numerous dining options. This unique opportunity will allow the stakeholders of Putnam to be part of several visioning sessions moderated by professional planners. There are two major goals of the project.
