The Hartford Marathon Foundation is coming to Putnam!
Thanks to the efforts of James and Sheila Frost, owners of the Courthouse Bar & Grille, the HMF will be coming to town on Sunday, March 11, 2012 for the first ever O’Putnam 5K.
The O’Putnam 5K will be one of over 50 runs, triathlons and duathlons put on by the HMF in 2012. For more information about the Hartford Marathon Foundation, you can visit:

The O’Putnam 5K will kick off at 1 p.m., followed by a post-race party at the Courthouse Bar & Grille. The Courthouse portion of Main Street will be closed to traffic to make room for all of the crazy costumes, green beer and corned beef sandwiches!
Where and when can we register for the 5K?
Hi Heather, I just spoke to someone at the Hartford Marathon Foundation and found out that it’ll be a few weeks before registration opens on the HMF website. So your best bet is to keep an eye on http://www.hartfordmarathon.com
The registration is now open! Go to http://www.hartforarathon.com and register for Courthouse O’Putnam. It is on Sunday March 11.
